Reach Out è la terza traccia del tredicesimo album in studio dei Red Hot Chili Peppers, Return Of The Dream Canteen. Il pezzo comprende suoni e dinamiche molto differenti: una strofa dai volumi bassi e dalla chitarra quasi medievale (potrebbero ricordare l’arpicordio sintetizzato e alcuni fraseggi di Eskimo) fa da contraltare a un ritornello cantato a pieni polmoni e sostenuto da una sezione ritmica che cresce improvvisamente. Il testo e uno dei più immaginifici di tutto l’album, fatto di giustapposizioni di immagini molto differenti e giochi di parole.
