Collaborazioni: John Frusciante feat. RZA

Dal MySpace di RZA potete ascoltare una song che sarebbe dovuta entrare in 8 Diagrams (alla quale ha collaborato John) e che ora invece verrà pubblicata nell'album solista di RZA, "Digi Sna ". Uscita prevista: 01/07/2008.

Collaborazioni: John Frusciante feat. Achozen

"Achozen" è il progetto del bassista Shavo Odadjian (System of a Down), RZA (Wu-Tang Clan), Kinetic 9 (aka Beretta 9 dai Killarmy) ed il reverendo William Burke. John sembra apparirà come guest insieme a George Clinton, Killah Priest. La release di questo omonimo album del progetto Achozen è prevista per Luglio. Al momento i musicisti avrebbero terminato le session di registrazione, ma ancora non ci sono notizie certe sulla tracklist. Una delle song che farà parte dell'album, intitolata Deuces, sarà ascoltabile in anteprima sul sito urSESSION.com (Martedì 22 Aprile, 4:22PM PDT).

System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian, Wu-Tang Clan founder The RZA, Kinetic 9 (aka Beretta 9 from Killarmy), and up-and-comer, the Reverend William Burke from Chicago, have formed a musical alliance, Achozen, and have just finished recording their self-titled debut album which is expected out this summer.
Achozen’s debut also features an eclectic and impressive array of guest performers that includes George Clinton, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ guitar-god John Frusciante, Wu-Tang affiliate Killah Priest, Wu-Tang founding member GZA, emcee Sick Jacken from Psycho Realm, and Angolin rapper Leggezin Fin are all on the album.
Song titles have not been defined yet, but the song titled Deuces will make its online premier at urSESSION.com on Tuesday, 22nd April at 4:22PM PDT. You can read more about the band on its Myspace page.

Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats

Secondo quanto comunicato da Rhcp.com, il progetto strumentale Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, capitanato da Chad Smith con al supporto Jeff Kollman, Ed Roth, Kevin Chown, dovrebbe prevedere la pubblicazione su disco di jam session come le tre che potete ascoltare visitando il loro MySpace. Nel frattempo il quartetto sta continuando a macinare date live, molte di queste in Giappone nei prossimi giorni.

Flea parteciperà al reality show 4REAL

Dal sito ufficiale Rhcp.com apprendiamo che Flea prenderà parte al reality show 4REAL (trasmesso su MTV Canada il 28 Aprile 2008), una serie di episodi della durata di mezz'ora che vedranno svariati personaggi del mondo della musica e dello spettacolo immergersi in storie di vita quotidiana di povertà, sviluppo, violenze, droghe in giro per il mondo. Flea è andato alle Haiti per incontrare Camseuze Moise, la responsabile della sanità di 3000 persone provenienti da due villaggi in Jeremie (nel sud-ovest delle Haiti).

Taking a break from the Stadium Arcadium world tour, Flea traveled to Haiti and met Camseuze Moise, a rural health care worker for Haitian Health Foundation.
