GLENN E I PEPPERS. Glenn Hughes, in passato nella line-up dei Deep Purple, inizierà le registrazioni del suo prossimo album solista nel corso del mese di gennaio; al CD, che dovrebbe giungere nelle rivendite nel maggio 2006, parteciperanno due componenti dei Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante e Chad Smith. Hughes ha affermato d'aver composto parecchie canzoni, anche se sul prodotto finito ne saranno ospitate solamente dodici. Il musicista è amico del batterista dei Chilis da parecchi anni, e Smith è stato uno dei produttori di "Soul mover", l'ultimo disco di Hughes. L'album sarà registrato a casa dello stesso Smith, sulle colline di Hollywood, e tra i brani che dovrebbero figurarvi sono da annoverare, secondo fonti statunitensi, "Oil and water", "Stepping on" e "Black light". In questi giorni Hughes sta trattando con alcuni promoter europei; il musicista vorrebbe esibirsi sul Vecchio Continente, per supportare l'album, con un'orchestra. I am working with Chad and John Frusciante on Monday. John has written a song for me, and we are going to get together and do some writing and playing. I am hard at work on the next GH release. The record will be recorded at Chad's home in the Hollywood Hills in January. We are hoping to do a video at Chad's Malibu home the 2nd week of February. Chad and John will be off on tour with the RHCP starting in April, their new album sounds fantastic! There are lots of things that are being worked on and when I get confirmations, you will be the first to know.

I spent the afternoon yesterday with John and Chad at Chad's home. We had a funky good time writing and going over a couple of songs for my album. John Frusciante is an absolute one of a kind. His vision and depth amazes me, and like Chad, he is extremely beautiful. Look forward to creating my next adventure in the new year.

STADIUMARCADIUM.COM. Non ci sono ancora notizie ufficiali sul nuovo album, sembra solo che Chad abbia confermato l'uscita per Aprile ad alcuni fans che lo hanno incontrato. È interessante il fatto che se si digita www.stadiumarcadium.com si apre la pagina del sito ufficiale, anche se sul sito stesso non ci sono notizie ufficiali sul titolo del nuovo lp della band.
